Backup settings
I selected to do full backup after 5 incrementals (custom incremental backup), I now have 7. Why is this not working as expected, just keeps on making incrementals. Thing I saw it work on default of 7 till full, and yes I've save these options! Any one else seen this and know of solution?

I created the task with the new backup settings I wanted, that's not the problem. Just doesn't seem to work as advertised! Guess when I want a full backup, will have temporarily change to full, then when done go back to incrementals. This is TI2013 on Win7 64b.

Mark,
Start out again fresh by creating a new task and pointing to a new empty sub-folder.
Set you task up like the example shown in figure 11-Inc (link below) except you can change the 6 and 4 examples to fit your needs.
The example 4 is the number of complete chains retained. By using this option to keep x number of backups, the program will do its own deletion according to your settings.

Well, I did have left over backups in folder, so that may be the trick to try: move them somewhere else to make empty folder and recreate the task again. Thankx for the feedback, gives something to try.

Mark,
If you want to force ATI to create a full, that's right, move manually the existing backup files to another directory on the same disk (and disable scanning for archives in ATI).

Thanks for all y'all help hear. Will get around to that later when have enough changes to warrant another BU. Now I'm dealing with a Black Friday black mail into upgrading PDF from standard to pro. They sent me an order for the upgrade and another product never mentioned which doubled the bill, and to top it off, the link for the upgrade to pro was a link to the standard version. Great way to start the day! Again for all the help/suggestions you guys have given me. See ya later, will let you know how things turn out.
