Recovery/backup does not start or run

Thread needs solution

I have had this problem on multiple systems where trying to back up or recover in Acronis backup and recovery 10 resulted in the task not starting.

One thing I did notice is that even though the task did not start after rebooting the system and trying to run the backup again it showed the archive file on the hard disk.

Is this a known common issue?

When starting a system with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, it needs up to a few minutes until the Acronis services are up and running. If a planned backup task could not be start for a missing condition, it starts at the next system start. This depends on the used settings in options.
