Warning - True Image 2013 install wipes out 3TB Seagate Barracuda Drive

Thread needs solution

My 3TB backup Seagate Barracuda Drive is partitioned 2TB (E:)+ 750GB (G:). Upon installing TI2013, my 2TB partition was showing "Raw" format...my backup disk (E:) was effectively wiped out! I tried to run Seagate File Recovery for Windows, it would not initialize. Used TI2013 to repartition the 3TB drive but MS "Computer Management" console was not able to reformat the disk and resulted in "Blue Screen". Final resolution to the nightmare was to uninstall TI2013, reformat the 3TB drive and use Seagate File Recovery to recover "lost" backups. Hope my problem was isolated and helps others avoid the same fate. My system config is Win7-64PRO SP1, i7-2600K, 16GB, C:128GB SSD, D:2TB Seagate (data), E&G:3TB Seagate (Backup)
