Problem Creating Bootable Media
I recently purchased and installed Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Workstation with Universal Restore.
They installed without a problem and are both in my computer.
I am attempting to move my Windows XP SP2 operating system from one machine to another.
Instructions from Acronis website tell me to create bootable media with the Universal Restore option selected. However when I try to create bootable media I have found no option to select Universal Restore.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for any help.
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]
Paul is correct,
If you have AUR installed, there is no an option to create Acronis Bootable Rescue Media without Acronis Universal Restore.
AUR should be listed in the Help section of the CD.
Thank you.

Paul Immoos wrote:I found the UR option isn't available in B&R like it was in TI. Create the media (if you have UR installed) and then boot to the media. In the recovery section section see if there is a little check box to check that says use UR.
That is how it worked for me yesturday.
edit: forgot to mention you need to go through the whole process of selecting the restore media, and choose where to recover it, then the Option to use UR appears below that.
Thanks, that worked.
