Backup problems
I upgraded to Acronis 2013 (build 5551) and now have the following issues:
Computer will not wake from sleep to start backup. "Wake up computer..." is checked.
When backing up manually, the backup will stop when the monitor is turned off by the computer power settings.
A unattended backup is now useless.

I am just as puzzled as you are. Windows 7 Home Premium power setting: After 15 min. turn off monitor. After 3 hours, put PC to sleep.
Before upgrading, and for that matter several windows updates, when the programed backup was initiated in middle of the night, the PC got out of sleep, the monitor turned on and the backup was completed when I got up in the morning.
The hard drive for backup is external on a USB3 connection, and it will power down if PC goes to sleep. It will power up when PC comes out of sleep.
The situation with backup interruption when the monitor is being turned off, became apparent when I initiated a manual backup. The backup started and was indicating how long the backup will take. When I checked an hour later the backup had stopped, the backup hard drive was still powered up, and the backup could only be completed by preventing the monitor from turning off.
My settings for windows and Acronis have not changed, but now unless I change my prefered PC setup or initiate a workaround with task management, I have wasted my money and nerves.

Oskar,
I'm at a loss to think of how to sort this problem out, it does seem to be something Acronis need to get involved with. One though does come to mind USB 3.0 has a different way of sending bulk transactions and some new capabilities that USB 2.0 doesn't have, I'm wondering if the USB 3.0 hub could be suspending data transfer for some reason.
Check how many instances of True Image are showing in Task Manager after the monitor comes back on.
Check in Windows Event Manager to see if any events point to TI just before and after the monitor switches off.
Are there any entries in the TI log relating to suspension of imaging?
Is your video card part of the motherboard or a separate card?
What is the video setting within your BIOS?
What video chipset and driver do you use?
Are you outside your 30 day support entitlement?
