Restore stops if there's no mouse activity
I start a restore and leave it alone. There's no progress after a few mionutes. If I move the mouse around in the window it starts to restore again.I have the power option set to never sleep or stop hard drive? would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

From Windows and the image is on another Drive. After thinking about it I wonder if the progress bar is just not updating as it should? It sat there for about 45 mins without a change of the bar, then I moved the mouse to the progress window and it seemed to jump a bit and then update for a while.

I've done further tests. In windows 8 I tried to do a backup while observing Disk activity in task manager, There was no activity on the destination drive and nothing I did would start the backup. I cancelled it and closed TI. I reopened TI and told the task to backup with the same results. I observed the task manager process list and noticed that even after closing TI there were 3 instances of TI32.exe still running. I finally opened TI and restarted the backup task. I then manually ended the instances of the .exe one at a time and finally the backup began. It is now running and there are no instances of the .exe running but now there is an instance of True Image Service(32bit) running.

Hello Norman,
Thank you for your response.
It already is and it does it on Windows 7 and 8
Just to be sure that I understood you correctly, do you mean that you experiences the behavior described in post #1 with Power option set to Never "Put the computer to sleep"?
In windows 8 I tried to do a backup while observing Disk activity in task manager, There was no activity on the destination drive and nothing I did would start the backup. I cancelled it and closed TI. I reopened TI and told the task to backup with the same results. I observed the task manager process list and noticed that even after closing TI there were 3 instances of TI32.exe still running. I finally opened TI and restarted the backup task. I then manually ended the instances of the .exe one at a time and finally the backup began. It is now running and there are no instances of the .exe running but now there is an instance of True Image Service(32bit) running.
If this behavior is reproducible, please provide us with a remote access to your system, to find the exact reason of the issue we need a remote debug session.
Thank you.
