RAMDisk and Nonstop Backup

Thread needs solution

Hello all. I'm new to this community, and hope I can contribute (positively) to it. Unfortunately, my first post consists of a question, not a useful guide, statement or insight.

Thus: Is there a way to use the "Nonstop Backup" feature to back up my Ramdisk? I'm running a Minecraft server from said disk, and have been using Syncrify for backups. It is really clunky, and I would love to use Acronis for it. The Ramdisk does not show up the the configuration windows as a source.

I can't figure out how to change this.

Thank you in advance.

Odie,

I don't believe there is any way to use NSB on a virtual disk such as a RAM disk. I am trying to recall if TI recognised Paragon Ram Disk that I tried out recently as far as normal imaging was concerned. I have a feeling it didn't.

This might be your first post here, but I think this is also the first post on RAM disks in this forum. :)

Heh, okay. Perhaps the software engineers will add it in the future...

Anyways, thanks for the info Colin! And yes, I break my copy of windows regularly with experimentation, RAMDisk's being my latest effort. My server needed that extra loading speed!
