Win8 / Truecrypt drive as source / Nonstop Backup
How I can create a Nonstop-Backup of a Drive which is an encrypted Truecrypt Drive (I do not mean the target drive).
The drive and its content (files, directories,...) which is normally visible in Windows-Explorer on the PC is not visible in True Image Home 2013 Build 5551 even in volume-mode.
So please let me know a step by step guide how to enable a Backup of such a decrypted, readable drive.
Thanks in advance.

It is not possible to image a TrueCrypt drive with Acronis products. You have to unencrypt the drive for imaging purposes.
You have a choice of which encryption method True Image uses under the backup options. Password protected images have the password stored in the image as fas as I am aware. Password encryption for accessing drives are held in Windows Credential Manager.

Hi Colin,
thanks for the information, I appreciate this.
But I have done this 1000 times in the past with Win7 without any hassle.
So what's the reason now that this isn't supported in Acronis 2013 with Windows8???
I do not understand the reason(s) behind. During Backup the mounted drive is open/accessible to read every file so I am interested in the technical bacground...
For me it seems this is a BUG!
And BTW: It would urge me to go for another Backup Tool - good support for the competitors which support such (basic) feature :-(
If an official Acronis Support could answer *as well* it would help...
As far as I remember there was a fix in the past for Win7 (similar case), will this Bug as well be fixed in the future?
