Thierry,

The 2013 CD will have differnt and newer drivers than 2012, this might explain what you are seeing.

Are you using the same backup drive inserted into the same USB port?

What make of drive or drive caddy are you using?

Hello,

Thanks for your answer,
I boot on CD/DVD Rom drive, with a CD-R Verbatim (same support for ATIH 2012 and 2013).
It's the same with several different CD-R
The laptop is a HP Envy DV7-7290ef

You say "It's the same with several different CD-R". Are you backing up to CD-R media?

If you're simply booting from the ATI2013 bootable Rescue Media, the particular brand of CD-R used to hold the Rescue Media will have no influence on speed of backup.

The brand of CD has nothing to do.
The backup destination is on the other partition on hard disk.

Are you selecting "sector-by-sector" backup option?

Are you certain you select to backup only C: partition, and not partition contianing .tib backups?

No, I do not Selected "sector-by-sector" backup option
and yes, I only Selected C; there are 48 Go (only Windows 8) and the backup is 22.5 Go

If you didn't change anything, it must be a driver/hardware support issue. That's curious, because usually newer ATI versions add support for a wider range of hardware. I hadn't heard of support for a given configuration being better in ATI 2012 than 2013. If the ATI 2012 disk backs up in 20 minutes, versus 5 hours for the 2013 disk on the same hardware, that's unexpected.

You should contact Acronis Support as I'm sure they'd want to know about it.

I think in fact a problem of driver.
on page Acronis support, there is not ATIH 2013
