Unable to boot to snap deploy agent - always drops thru to OS

Thread needs solution

I am attempting to configure a deployment as described in section10.4 of the manual, pages 101-113.

I have imported the Snap Deploy agent to the PXE server and configured 'Start operating system' as the default option as per page 102-3.
The machine is configured for PXE boot with the network adapter booting before the hard drive.
In creating the deployment task I add the machine, specify 'Use PXE server for booting into agent' check box and specify the IP address of the server (plus the necessary WOL Proxy IP address) as described in the 'Tune the PXE server' on page 104.
When the deployment task is started the machine boots (so the WOL setting is working OK), makes contact with the PXE server OK, reports 'Starting Acronis Loader' and 'downloading bootwiz.cfg' but when the Acronis screen appears the Boot Operating System item is selected and the machine boots to the hard drive.
The only way I can get the machine to image is by intervening manually before the timeout expires to launch the Snap Deploy Agent option. Not what I want / need for automatic re-imaging of this machine on a weekly basis.
Please advise what step I am not performing correctly to get this to function as expected.
email replies to grahaml at fast.au.fujitsu.com please.
Thanks,
Graham

What make and model PC or server are you trying to boot?

This is why you're going straight to the OS. Set that to auto boot you into the Acronis Agent after 'X' amount of time and you won't be thrown to the OS every time.
