Unable to create backup. Does not accept / recognize user account!

Thread needs solution

After defining a new "full disk" backup from a local PC to to a directory on another networked PC, I am prompted for a Windows account credential. I enter my local "administrator level" Windows credentials, which are rejected. I tried using the Windows credentials of the destination PC with the same results, therefore am unable to use this software. What to do next?

1. Try removing your entry in Windows Credential Manager, then re input them when asked by the other PC.

2. Make sure you are accessing the othe rmachine via a Windows share using IP or UNC naming, mapped drives will have a problem.

That did it, with one more tweak!.
I had changed the user account on the destination PC in the last few weeks by removing the password, which was not a valid set of credentials for ATI. The solution was to put a password back on the destination PC account after removing the credentials from the sender PC. Thanks for the tip.
