[RESOLVED] Recovery, no visable progress on progress bar

Thread needs solution

Hi all, I need some help please on recovering an Image, I have the Image stored on Icy box (western digital black 1TB sata 2 inside) connected via usb2, I booted with recovery cd from Acronis account, everything shows up, drives ect and my Images but when I set the recovery task running I get disk activity on Icy box and Internal HDD on desktop computer but the progress bar stays at zero even after 20 minutes, It seems to be writing the Image
Could this be sata driver issue, also the desktop HDD is sata 3, and what should I do?
Thanks for any help guys
Regards
Stephen

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

The progress bar is the last GUI part that is updated. You should simple wait until the GUI shows the end of your recovery task. You will see that the progress bar will be updated only from time to time or in some situations only at the end. The progress bar then jumps from 0% to 100%.

If you need additional assistance, please create a system report of the affected machine and contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi Thanks for the reply, Yes after 30 minutes the progress bar jumped to 100% and the recovery was successful, Not ideal not knowing how long the task will take.
Thanks again
Stephen
