[RESOLVED] Snap Deploy with No Ethernet??

Thread needs solution

Hi there. I'm new to this. I work for a small company with no IT support yet, thus I'm muddling my way through most things in my free time.

I have an image backup. I want to use Snap Deploy to deploy the image to a few machines. The new machines do not have ethernet ports. They only have wireless. I have tried a usb ethernet adapter to no avail. Snap Deploy just keeps saying it cannot boot because there is not network connection. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Patrick

You can create an Acronis Boot Disk/disks from the main console and then deploy your image offline to all three of the machines.

Click on this link, which is the user manual. Then go to chapter 10 and then to 10.5.

Stand-alone deployment is what you're looking for. Essentially, you're going to be putting the loader on a USB drive or disc and then load the image without using any networking.
