Wireless keyboard & mouse don't work with boot CD
I have the same problem that many other 2009 and 2010 users have, when I boot from the boot CD. my Logitech Wave wireless mouse/keyboard won't work. If I use a boot CD created from the original program, it works fine. The only issue I have with the original version is that the mouse is extremely sensitive when first starting the program. Since I like to keep everything updated and there was a new version of the boot ISO on my downloads page, I downloaded the latest ISO image and made a boot CD and now they won't work. Since so many users are complaining about this issue, it is apparent this is a problem with the program. I don't see any solutions offered by Acronis which has solved anyone's problem. I have a dual boot of Vista/Win7, but when booting from the CD, the operating system is irrelevant.

i have a feeling the next time they release an update (and pull a newer kernel from the hat for the rescue cd) it will be fixed as a consequence. admittedly i haven't compared the kernel of the newer build 6053 to that of 6029 (which introduced the problem) but with the problem still present, my guess is the latest build concentrated on 'windows' issues.

Hello all,
Let me assist you with this situation.
Ron, I have found the similar thread from you. I have updated it and sent you the ISO with the fix via PM.
Ozzy, I have checked other threads from you and haven't found the description of the issue you experience. Is it related to the same wireless keyboard issue? If yes, please notify me via PM so I can send you the fix. Note that it's available for Acronis True Image Home 2010 and you should first register Acronis software.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
Thank you.

Hello all,
If your wireless USB mouse and keyboard, which are parts of a wireless USB kit, do not work in Acronis Bootable Media (the issue described in this article), please log in to your account, go to the Registered products and downloads section -> Bootable media (please note that the license should be registered). We have recently uploaded new files that contain the fix for the issue.
Download the file, create Acronis Bootable Media and check its' functionality..
You can find the information on how to download the appropriate ISOLINUX file in this article.
There are two types of Acronis Bootable Media:
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product. This type of media is based on Acronis Loader;
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can download from your account on the Acronis website. This type of media is based on ISOLINUX.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the web site more frequently than regular product updates are released.
Please see this article on how to burn an ISO file to a CD disk.
Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.

I've been going back and forth with Toshi (Acronis) with this problem. After a half dozen emails back and forth I still haven't been able to get him to understand what the problem is. The last email he wants me to do screen dumps when running from the CD. It is going to take me a while to figure out how to do that!! The download referenced here still has the date of 11/23, but it is different. Now the program will recognize the mouse and keyboard, and it seems all modules work, except the restore and validate functions. Whenever you click on either, the program does not respond. backup, etc. work fine. The one item, restore, which you really need won't work.
