Cloud Backups - Can there be multiple separate backups or just one big one?

Thread needs solution

I am trying out the Cloud Backup feature. I tried several times to backup everything I needed to back up but the backup was never successful. Always hit a time-out error message. Estimated the time as a day and a half which itself is unrealistic but... Anyway, I thought a better way would be to do multiple smaller backups with files that were more static backed up infrequently while things that changed frequently be backed up frequently. It doesn't appear that I can do anything other than a single cloud backup definition. Is this true? Is there a way have multiple backups to the cloud?

No. True Image Home allows only one backup task to the online storage per machine (and up to five machines per one subscription). However it's possible to cancel (or, rather, suspend) online backup task and the next time you resume it, it will continue from the same place and won't reupload what was already uploaded.

So having 250GB of storage doesn't do you much good if it take 1.5 days or more to back things up and the process dies before it gets done anyway. That's too bad. Otherwise, it is a good idea.

Two things to note Thomas, the first is that the Acronis progress bar is not all that accurate, and over the internet can vary quite considerably depending on internet routing, traffic, resends due to an electrically noise environment and of course the load on the Acronis server(s).

The other thing is that most ISPs restrict the upload speed for domestic users, at least. My upload speed is about 600kbs while my down is about 8mbs.
