True Image 2013 full backup issue ("single version backup scheme" option)
Hello,
Despite choosing the "single version" option for my backups, my drives continue to fill up will several images. I simply want the most recent image to vanish and be replaced by the latest image. Is there something I'm missing outside of choosing "single version" for my full backups?
Thank you in advance :)

Thank you for the detailed response. The problem here is that I am backing up 3TB of data to a 4TB drive. Not enough room for another image. That is why I am relying so heavily on the single version mode.

Because TI will not delete the old image until after a new one has been created, you will have an error each time a full is created.
As I see it, you only have one solution and that is to delete the files manually. This could be done via an automatic batch file or the best solution that I would recommend is to use the Chain2Gen which is a free helper program.
Another user just asked basically your same issue. Look at the attached link below and come back if you have questions.

Cool! I'll take a look at Chain2Gen. Thank you! :)

I tried acronis for tghe first time. New Dell with i5 chip, windows 7 pro. I have 2 internal disks, system disk and datya disk. I have an external 2T disk. I selected all files in the data disk, aprx 270 GB. When the backup was complete, I clicked on the backed up files on my external disk, and notes there were no Folder or file names. All the other backups i used previously wqith Easeus todo are there. Today when I went into my external drive, The acronis folder is empty. Any suggestions

Charles,
The folder might not be empty, it might be that the permissions have changed and True Image can no longer see it. If you boot from the recovery CD do you see any tib files?
Has the free space capacity if the destination drive decreased?
