Nonstop backup not backing up changed files

Thread needs solution

The system tray icon shows NSB is running, but the cdpxxx.data files and cdp.metadata file has not been written to since 21-Feb-2013 16:11 hours (local time). I went to restore my email files and the last version available via NSB restore are dated 20-Feb-3013 06:25pm (local time). Shouldn't these files have been backup up via NSB? If not, why not?

Tom,

Are the log files being updated?

Are the dates you are referencing, those shown in True Image or those shown in Windows Explorer or other file manager?

The log file was not being updated (I have attached a screen shot). The cdp file dates and times are from a file manager that I use. The NSB dates and time are from the TIH NSB restore screen.

I did find a Windows error event for afcdpsrv.exe (screen shot attached), but I don't believe it is related to the problem. I launched dbgwiew.exe (I have a registry entry provided from Acronis that allows logging of afcdpsrv.exe events), and it appeared the driver was still running.

I believe I have run into this problem before, but I'll have to check through previous posts to find it. I'll add it here if I do locate the post.

Needless to say, this is very disconcerting.

I found my post with similar symptoms:

34621: Nonstop backup not working after resuming from sleep mode

I have attached a screen shot from afcdpsrv.log that shows what was happening about the time when Windows logged the afcdpsrv.exe error.
