Sync to local folder keeps computer from going to sleep?

Thread needs solution

Hey, Guys. I'm using sync to a local folder as another way to keep a real time backup. Might be foolish, but I thought I'd try it. Seems to work. Problem is, Acronis appears to make a sync to the "cloud" even thought I'm not using this service. Looks like that service is keeping my computer awake by being accessed by a remote client. There is no option for removing this sync.

Why is it there?
Why can't I remove it?
Is it possible this is keeping my computer awake?

All the best, Don

It is likely this is keeping the system awake.

Have you tried pausing the sync?

The default sync that is created the first time you sign in to Acronis in True Image is between your computer and the cloud. You can not delete this sync. Since you probably do not have any files in the default created sync folder, there is no harm in having it on your system. If it can be paused, pause it as well.

The sync service monitors your synced folder(s) while your system is on, checking for any changes to the folders, even if none are being made. This likely would prevent your computer from sleeping properly. Pausing the sync tasks may allow your system to sleep.
