No clone after reboot

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis for first time since i purchased
it, i tried to clone my ssd 240gb drive to a
sata 300gb drive.
A message said that the sata
drive will remain as gpt. it prompted me to
reboot. The computer rebooted, but no cloning
appeared to happen. in the UEFI bios. the boot

priority is now;
1.)Acronis Loader (p1-ssd)
2.)Windows boot manager (p1-ssd)
3.)p1 INTEL SSD
4.)DVD Drive
5.)Flash Drive
6.)Flash Drive

Please advise. Thank you.
MB:Asus P8z77v-pro
Bios:UEFI
drives 1x 240gb intel ssd 4x300gb seagate sata
OS: Win 7 home premium x64

Also - I tried the cloning procedure a couple times. The first time I tried it, my operating system would not boot because a message said: "Windows bootmgr is missing"
In my boot device priority, I moved my DVD Drive from the #1 position to the #4 position and when I reboot my computer, it loaded the operating system fine. I have tried the clone procedure again with DVD at #4 position but rebooting right after the cloning procedure, the operating system now comes up but
when I look at my destination drive. it still appears to be empty.

Boot the computer on the Acronis recovery CD and clone the disk from ATI running from the recovery CD.

Please forgive my noobieness, recovery CD? is that the one that you make your self from the acronis program? What is ATI? Thanks ...

Also I have my lifes work on the drive i am trying to clone. Is there a chance I will lose everything doing it this way?
Thanks again

Yep, the recovery CD is the one you produce with Acronis True Image (ATI).

Also have a look at this, since you have UEFI
