True Image 2013 on Windows 7 not extracting images generated in earlier version reliably

Thread needs solution

We are using True Image 2013 on Windows 7 to explode image files created in an earlier Windows XP version of the software to flash card.

We have found that in order for this to work we need to format the flash card as NTFS, boot the PC with the card already installed and then extract the image. However this does not always work and although the image file appears to have been successfully extracted the flash card does not subsequently boot as it should.

Is there a patch for the software that will rectify this issue or is there a Windows XP version of the software still available you could make available to us? We need the solution to be reliable and we had no problem with the software on the earlier windows XP verison.

Chris,

What exactly happens when the card doesn't boot correctly?
