Problem accessing network share

I am using the trial version of True Image 2013, but have had no success backing up to a network share. I eventually get an error message saying "access to the specified file is denied: \\?\UNC......

What is the problem; there are no access issues over my network, and the program backs up to a local hard disk without problems.

When using ATI with a network drive, use a UNC path to your NAS device for a backup destination, not a typical friendly "mapped" drive.
e.g.
\\192.168.2.25\My Backups\

I believe it may also be possible to use a UNC path that includes server name rather than IP, such as
\\server1\My Backups\

Thanks for your help; unfortunately I tried that, and it fails to connect still. I though this might be a firewall problem, but I get the same result when the firewall is suspended. I'm getting the same error messages as before. Any more thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
