Some good news to share about partition management.

Thread needs solution

Many TI users are also involved with using partition manager software. I have used two in the past and found that the free Easeus was the easiest for me.

I sometimes want to re-size partitions to make my TI images more manageable, etc.

Now I have what I think is an even better partition manager, and it is freeware!
The product is "Partition Wizard" and it can be installed and run, or can be run from a bootable cd disk. This is the best one I've ever used. It is more than happy to work on Win 7/64 systems too. I used the installed version to shrink a 600 GB partition to a 150 GB size and it was "idiot proof", a name I use for something that just works.

Normally one can't re-size a C: partition when Win is running, this one can, it prepares the job then reboots to a non-win environment and finishes the re-size.

Give it a try. http://www.partitionwizard.com/

Download the freeware install package and also the cd version's "iso" image which can easily be burned to a cd disk. It is good enough to make me consider buying the paid version.

Appreciating that you last posted in August I was wondering whether you would be prepared to answer a further question on this subject if I were to post one please?
Thank you.

Who, fungus last posted in August? I don't think so. He's a regular here. But go ahead and post away.
I use Partition Wizard myself - the bootable CD.
