Boot disk boots Windows Virtual PC system, shows the Acronis screen for a split second, then shuts down

Thread needs solution

I am testing Acronis as a possible application for use in imaging systems to use in Virtual PCs on my desktop. I have Acronis images of several workstations that I need to make into VMs. I created a boot disk .ISO through True Image 2013, then tried to boot my VM from it. I see the following:

1. The POST screen completes successfully
2. I see "Starting Acronis Loader"
3. I see a bright blue screen that appears for less than a second (after managing to hit Pause at the right time, it turns out it is a boot screen -- see the smaller capture.jpg)
3a. If I unpause and hit the top option, I see the errors listed in the second capture.jpg -- it will do this for a long time, until it gets through determining all its PIDs are unavailable, then it shuts down.
4. The VM turns off

Any suggestions?

I believe only ABR 11.5 virtual PC or vmProtect 8 are VM ready. You don't mention which VM type you are trying to boot into, Virtual PC, Hyper-V, Virtual Box, VMWare, Parallels, Zen etc.

If you are using Microsft VMs, then the answer is to convert the tib images to VHDs using True Image and then physically copy the VHD on to the machine. .

I see you do mention the VM you are using, somehow I missed that.
