ATI Home 2009 - backing up the backup tasks
ATI Home 2009 - backing up the backup tasks
Hi the product as in subject line has to be temporarily removed due to troubleshooting
(a potential conflict between that product and the latest release of ESET antivirus solution 6.x, latest available version must be researched).
However, plenty of backup tasks are defined. We will grudgingly reproduce all these tasks manually from the scratch as soon as the ati solution has to be installed back upon troubleshooting session is done.
How to create a backup of the ati home 2009 backup tasks?
By the way, any known issues regarding ati solution as addressed here and ESET nod32 6.x?

Long time ago there was information to be found in this forum, that the TI tasks definitions are stored in windows registry. Really no chance to save the tasks manually by exporting appropriate registry keys/values?
How are the names of all such keys/heaves?
The removal of ati 2009 home installation is going to be temporarily, due to some troubleshooting. It means the final reinstallation will be made on the same machine and configuration. How good is the chance that the ti deinstaller/remover will leave user data (inclusively tasks definitions) undeleted?

Several .tib.tis files were found in the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
(it is windows xp)
Possibly these include the definitions of all backup tasks.
How good is the chance to have backup/export of ti 2009 home backup tasks by backing up these files?
How well is the chance to recover all ati home 2009 backup tasks from these files after temporary removal of ti solution as focused here?
For more details regarding the context of the goal see the previous mail please?

Chrizio,
There is a small chance of success since you are using same OS, same, user acct, same software, etc, but this version of the product does not support this feature. I can't suggest a solution I've not used or that is not supported by Acronis. I'm sorry that I can't guarantee copying over these files will result in a successful migration of tasks as other dependancies might exist.
