Not working. Never had a problem before

Thread needs solution

Hi
I have used Acronis work statiion for years without
a problem. Work station with universel restore.

I have a new Laptop with Windows 8 ( Yuc )
I purchased a newer version of Backup and universil recovery this AM.
I connected a USB Drive and tested that the external USB Drive can read and write.
When I try to do a backup as I have spent days trying to get this thing setup with everything I need on it. When I try to backup to the laptop as I have done many times over the years I get an error message stating "Can find file" When I try to find out what the hell the file is it does not tell me.
I always get to 15% ehrn this happens.
Also
Like Windows 8 the 11.5 version is not very easy to use like version 10 that I have on several other systems. IT always works on those systems. Also getting the GUI to confirm what drive I want to backup and what drive I want wont to backup to is not the least bit inuative.
I just want to add this info. The old version 10 was cool and easy to use. This new version is not as easy but it should work. I can eventualy and did get the drive I wanted backed up and the destination drive setup with a folder etc..
But I have no idea what the hell file it is trying to use that it says is not there.
I could sure use some help. I use Linux and Apple far more than MS so this is kind of new to me.
Any Ideas. I did hit the Help button and it said it would gather info about my system. It did and then sent the data to I assum Acronis but not for sure.
I realy need some help here.

If you go to the log in the navigation tree, select 'event' instead of 'activities' in data type, some more information may be there .You can either study it yourself or 'save all to file' and post here.
