Acronis Management Server & License Server Conflicting
Current Setup:
Acronis License Server
Acronis Management Server
Multiple Backup PC's
When I added a computer to the Management Server for some reason it edit the computer's register LicenseServerAddress to the Management Server address. This LicenseServerAddress should of not changed because I do not want the Management Server to contain the licenses. Unless we can change the Management Server license feature to the License Server IP Address that would work too. Anyone experiencing this?
The reason I brought this up was some of the PC's were populating this error:
ProtectCommand: Failed to execute the command.
Additional info:
--------------------
Error code: 41
Module: 307
LineInfo: e6792a5ee190dd9e
Fields: $module : agent_protection_addon_vs
Message: ProtectCommand: Failed to execute the command.
--------------------
Error code: 1
Module: 408
LineInfo: 9418a040040a4e8a
Fields: $module : disk_bundle_vs
Message: The feature is not available.

Is there a way to turn off or disabled the license management on the Management Server application?
Thanks

So if I added all the PC's that are running the agent and pointed to the License Server; it will revert to the Management Server license instead? I may have to import those license from the License Server onto the Management Server then.

You can import licenses to the LS specified in Management Server - or tell the Management Server to use your existing LS on other machine.

I use Windows SBS Server 2008 and Backup and Recovery 10. Since some days i have the message that the licence is deaktivated. Is there a time limit for the used licence?

Fedor,
I can't seem to find where to tell the Management Server to use my existing LS. Do you know the steps to do that?
Thanks,
Tom

Bernd Richter,
Our account show the licenses are unlimited to specific version of Acronis.

It should be available, as I wrote, in the following place - connect to the management server, go to menu->actions->change license server.

Oh I didn't read that part. Thanks! That resolved the issue with the licensing when adding existing PC's with Acronis Agent.
