Acronis 2012 Family Pack - Failed to Get Account Information....Your Subscription has expired...What subscription?
Running Acronis 2012 Family Pack on 2 pcs and, updated to build 7133 a while ago. I have never used online backup, or syncronisation and "login" appears on my Acronis screen indicating that I am, indeed, not logged in to online back up service. I do all my backups to external hard drives.
I have just performed full backup on 2 pc's. When I checked log of first pc to finish there was warning message "configuration file is not found and cannot be created" This was followed by lots of "updating backup database" and "moving volume ID xxx etc" messages. Eventually the log showed operation successful.
Full back up of my other pc has just finished and log for today says "failed to get the account information." Continuing down log for today shows operation successful.
I then noticed warnings on all my previous full backups (that I do not recall before today) saying "failed to get the account information"....
I am saving to a newly purchased 2TB external drive and following message appears on 25th March (before my first backup): "Your subscription has expired. Please update your subscription to be able to perform the selected operation."
I am totally bemused as to what these messages mean and their implication. Acronis on both pc's is said to have been successfully activated and I was not aware of there being an ongoing subscription - I do not use online backup.
Although green ticks showing next to all my backuip versions I am concerned about whether I am actually protected should I need to restore either pc and what actions I need to take re messages.
Help greatly appreciated re above as also not sure whether deadline ticking from 25 March message that may cause me problems.

Many thanks for feedback; relieved to here that no implications on the backupsthat I have made. I always tick the validate backup when it is created option and all have green ticks indicating that the backup was successfully created.
Still confused by the "failed to get the account" information messages in the log as;
a) I have never instaled a trial version
b) never registered for online back
c) never used/registered for syncronisation
Maybe some form of "free trial" was associated with my account when I installed free product.
So long as my backups are not compromised, I am happy - although it would be good if the warning messages re account information could not be found stopped appearing in the log. Maybe there is a bug that needs fixing.

This bit of informastion was helpful. If this is in your log file, it is OK to disregard. One of our MVP's James F discovered that if you create an acct for synchonization that this error message will no longer appear in the logs. If you don't use this feature... don't bother. In any event you are 100% safe to ignore this recurring log entry.
