TImage2013 - Universal Recovery fails
I created image of W7 on SATA and attempted to restore it on a partition of hd on USB3. It failed to restore with the message as shown on the attached screen shot. The build version of the TI2013 is 5551.

churin,
Is the image from a different PC?
Are you trying to boot to the USB 3.0 connected hard disk?
Did you leave both the original and new (target) drives connected to the system at the same time?

Yes, but the OS of the image is on SATA controller.

No, the original drive was removed.

Windows can not boot to USB connected drives.
Can you take the drive out of the USB enclosure and connect it directly to your SATA controller in the place the original drive was connected?

I thought it is possible nowadays.
I just wanted to have OS on an external drive.
Thanks for your trying to help me.

No, Windows won't allow a Windows OS to boot from a USB drive. That's just one of many reasons why it's better to create disk backups (.tib images) rather than to clone a drive as a backup strategy.

Aside from whether Windows will or won't allow . . . , please review the screen snap shot on my original post. It indicates USB3 drivers were not found at the specific path. Can I say that TI2013 failed to do what it supposed to do, because I know the drivers are at that path?. I used this drivers DVD many times to install the USB3 drivers.
I am asking this question because my attempt restoring image to a SATA drive in dissimilar hardware always returns similar message indicating certain files could not be found. Another word I never see Universal Recovery mode worked.

Churin,
What format are the drivers in on your DVD? For Universal Restore to work they need to be in inf or cat format, exe installers won't be recognised.
Windows 8 can be installed on a USB device (not a USB hard drive) and boot from it, unlike Windows 7 (though there are exceptions such as installing the OS as a virtual drive in the first place, though it is locked to the PC you were using for installation, that is, you cannot take the external drive to another PC and boot from it). However, the type of BIOS or UEFI firmware used on your PC will also have a bearing on whether this would be successful. In theory all UEFI based systems should be happy, but brand name machines that have secure boot enabled may or may not play ball.

The USB drivers are not necessary for boot operations.
Even if you were to use Universal Restore to restore to a new internal hard disk, the USB drivers will not be required for booting into Windows, and can be added later after Windows boots (using the standard methods of installing Windows device drivers).

The drivers DVD is the one which came with the motherboard(Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3) and the drivers are in inf format, but I do not know what format is used for the DVD. It is hard to believe the issue is the format.

Name: Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
Device ID: PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4396&SUBSYS_50041458&REV_00\3&2B8E0B4B&0&B2

Driver: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\usbport.sys, 6.01.7601.17586 (English), 3/24/2011 20:29:14, 325120 bytes

The above is the description and the files associated with the PCI ID listed in your first post.
These are Windows files.
Your system, during UR was looking for these files, not the USB 3.0 files from Gigabyte.
These errors can be safely ignored as they will not affect UR or system boot after a UR restore, and Windows will install these drivers after first boot.

Even if the boot drive is on the USB controller?

I have TI2010, 2011 and 2013 but I keep using TI2010 because it can do what I wanted to do. But recently I tried Universal Restore mode and found it failed to work. The error message is the similar to that in my thread starter post. The target hard drive is on a SATA controller. I tried TI2013 but the same error message resulted. I wanted to move W7 from an old motherboard to a new one. I tried many times but no avail. Then I found that the normal mode instead of Universal Restore mode worked. W7 could boot on the new motherboard but I had to manually install certain drivers(LAN, USB3 and Video).
My point here is that if the error message as above is displayed then it is a bad news whether the hdd is on USB3 or SATA controller.
