Reinstalling Acronis True Image Home 2009

Thread needs solution

I have True Image Home 2009 on my PC, but suddenly the Startup Recovery manager is no longer working: it stops and reboots the P when reaching the main menu window. I tried deactivating and reactivating it again but it is useless. What can be done?

If the solution is reinstalling Acronis, then another question: I started from True Image DeLuxe, then True Image 8, and after than I've been upgrading until True Image Home 2009. If I have to reinstall the product, shall I have to start from Image 8 and follow the upgrtade sequence untill 2009, which is tremendously boring, or what can I do?

Thanks

Even if I start from the rescue bootable media the results is the same: it automaticalçly boots when the main menu screen is shown

Hi Mario,
When reinstalling, you only need to install the latest build of the ending version you plan to run. 2009 does not use activation. Full version only requires a S/N. If an upgrade, the S/N from your previous version and latest will suffice.
