True Image 2013 - Backup stops with disk read error

Thread needs solution

Windows 8 Pro
True Image 2013
True Image Plus Pack
Been using the program for some time. Just today, during a backup, I received an error message about True Image being unable to read data from disk. Complete screen shot attached.
I've checked the disk every which way I can think of and can find no errors. Windows 8 error checking, Command line chkdsk c: /f /r, etc., etc. All shows no errors.
True Image will still has errors.
True Image has never done this before - and neither has Windows 8.
Any ideas what's happening, how to correct it and how to prevent it?
Thanks
Chuck

Be sure to check your destination drive as well. The chkdsk /r command is the only one needed.

I would suggest that you create a temporary backup task and select one partition at a time and attempt a backup to see which partition is causing the error.

Change the selected partition in your temporary task and try each partition individually.

If you have any hidden partitions on your system, if they are the cause (as determined using the above method) you will need to assign a temporary drive letter in Windows Disk Management to allow checking with chkdsk.
