Backup with Validation issue
I have a backup done everynight at 11 PM - using differential with a create a new version after 7 differentials. I have Validate Backup when it is created turned on.
My laptop sleeps - I then have a task to wake up the laptop 5 minutes prior to the backup. The backup works fine - as it does everynight. But when it tries to do the validation it errors out. The backup works fine with the following message - The following backups have been succesfully created - "\\n4200pro\BackupFolder\CyberPowerPCAfterReinstall\NewLaptTopWithFantomeDrive_diff_b3_s4_v1.tib" (the name changes from day to day) It then tries to perform the validation and I get the error - Error occured while reading the file - 0x7CEB2CDC9FB12051
I am current on my firmware updates on the router - updates current on system - Windows 7 Ultimate.
The backup works fine all the time - it is during the validation. This has been going on with this version using a wireless connection. It works fine with a wired connection - only wireless. Any help in pointing me to some resolution would be great.

Thank you for getting back to me.
The backup is on a NAS server - the N4200PRO - and the name change is as you suspected - the numbering by the program.
I know the disks are fine - I already did a disk check on them and they are all fine. I have 4 disks using RAID 6.
Using a slower setting on my wireless would take the laptop forever to backup/validate. That is why I am using the 802.11N setting. The router is already up to date - verified setting - etc.
This happened on a prior laptop I had - which was also wireless but only started once I upgrade to True Image 2013 - from the True Image Home 2012 version. So I am not sure what the issue really is.
I have done validations - takes for ever since it wants to validate all versions - and I keep up to 14 days worth creating a new full version after every 7 differentials.
I wanted to push this up the flag poll with Acronis but it is a charge by issue deal - and I really just can't do that now.
Any other ideas or help.
When my laptop is wired to the network - no problem - but where the laptop needs to be - it has to be wireless.
Thanks in advance.

This suggests that the issue may be with your WiFi. Many users have had issues with NAS, not because of Acronis but because the router gets overloaded with data throughput and cannot keep a consistent enough connection with the NAS for True Image to image or restore. Some routers are more susceptible to this than others.

I have the Validate after Backup option selected on the advanced tab.
I would accept that comment if I had problems with the actual backup - the backup completes fine - it is when Acronis is trying to perform the validation after the backup. That is when I have the problem. It keeps thinkings that it can't find a file - but - it doesn't identify the file. This is what I get in order from last night -
The following backups have been successfully created:
"\\n4200pro\BackupFolder\CyberPowerPCAfterReinstall\NewLaptTopWithFantomeDrive_diff_b3_s8_v1.tib"
Validate Backup Archive
Location:
"\\n4200pro\BackupFolder\CyberPowerPCAfterReinstall\NewLaptTopWithFantomeDrive_diff_b3_s8_v1.tib"
Pending operation 3 started: 'Validate Backup Archive'.
Error occurred while reading the file.
0x7CEB2CDC9FB12051
As you can see - after the Error occured while reading the file - I get that hex error code - but no identifying information from Acronis.
So the fact that the router can't handle the load - I don't accept. It backs up fine - a 190 GIG for the full backup between differentials. I have the system to generate a full backup after 7 differentials.
I have no problems copying between my laptop and the NAS - 6 gigs of data - using Window 7 Ultimate Windows Explorer. No issues at all. Only when True Image 2013 is supposed to performa a validation after backup.
This has been a reocurring problem since I upgraded to True Image 2013. ATIH 2012 had no problems.

One additional note - I have tried this with two different wireless adapters thinking it may be the adapter - but not the case.
