Bootable backup can't see tib file in DVD

Thread needs solution

I made a bootable backup with ATI 2014 and created it successfully with only tib file in it and this DVD can't be used as bootable. Than I tried again to make bootable backup with option of placing Acronis True Image 2014 on media. This time on DVD I see there is recovery manager folder and tib file. When I booted from this DVD it asks for the backup file but couldn't see backup file in DVD itself. By browsing it can see backup file in other hard disk partitions but not showing any on DVD itself.
Kindly help me if I missing something as even after making bootable backup I'm not able to use it and couldn't sort out matter on my own.

I've followed the step and dvd was created but still it didn't show .tib file when I boot from that dvd while that file can be seen in DVD when seen in windows.
Kindly help.

Vivek,

When booted from the DVD, can it see tib files if on a different drive instead of the DVD?

How are you getting the tib file on the DVD and is it the same DVD that has the boot files?

There are two ways of making a bootable DVD from within True Image, the first is as a stand alone bootable recovery media and the second is by selecting the 'make this media bootable' when creating the task. Which one are you selecting?

Thanks Colin for reply.

I have made bootable DVD by selecting 'make this media bootable' and selecting the option of 'Place Acronis True Image 2014 on media' from disc back up option. When I booted from this DVD , on trying to recover it can see tib file stored in hard disk but can't see tib file on DVD itself and when in windows I see content of DVD , it shows there tib file.
One more thing when I didn't select 'Place Acronis True Image 2014 on media' and tried to make bootable recovery media than I couldn't boot from that DVD even when I've selected 'make this media bootable' and only tib file is stored in DVD and no boot files can be seen.

I don't know what step I'm missing while it seems so straight forward.
