Can't start Rescue Media

hello,
I have created a rescue media on a USB drive.
When booting on the USB drive and selecting option 1 for Acronis, the display get all messed and I can't see anything. It seems there is no video card driver included in the rescue media.
That makes restoring the system impossible and that is a critical issue.

I have tried the following but it didn't help:

after typing vga=ask, the screen is all scrambled again.

Any help would be very appreciated.
I don't see how I can use this product if I can't restore what I am backuping.

I have the same issue with my Laptop running Windows 8.1. When I was using ATI 2013 I had the same problem. On my Desktop running Windows 8.1, too.
I didn´t have this problem with ATI 2013 running on my desktop. I didn´t test Rescue Media of ATI 2014 on my Desktop yet.
I opened a new post and they said that happened because my Laptop is UEFI. But I installed Windows 8.1 in Bios mode.

Hi Karl,
That was the UEFI thing!
I went into the Bios and changed to "Legacy boot" instead of "UEFI boot" and was able to boot on the rescue media.

Are you restoring to the same or dissimilar hardware ? I´m asking because I want to know if it really works ?
