Browse for Backup/Validate/Recover not working in TI2013
Hi there,
I'm running Windows 8 and when I attempt to restore a disc image that isn't currently listed in "Backup and Recovery" I can't.
Within True Image I've tried:
* Browse for backup=> Add to backup list
* Recover => Browse for backup => Add to backup list
Within Windows Explorer I've tried right clicking the image and selecting Validate.
No matter what I try, the .tib file won't appear within TrueImage.
I seriously hope there's a fix for this otherwise all the backups I've spent days making are useless.

Hi there! Same happends to me, is there a solution already?
I was running a nonstop backup since January and just yesterday had to reinstall TrueImage 2013. When I then tried to "re-take" the non-stop backup, it didn't work...
I could add it to the list of backups but I was only given the option to recover, not to "re-take" ist and keep running it. Trying to fix the issue, I told TrueImage to take the backup off the list of backups. I restarted the PC and now I'm not able to add the very same non-stop again to my list of backups. I even updated to TI2014 - as I was told by Acronis - but nothing.
Would you have a hint?

C. Alexander,
Are you making a new NSB task or trying to use the original? I think you will need to make a new task.

Hi!
I wanted to use the original, really. Because I don't want to restart an entirely new history. Shouldn't that be possible?
Thx!!

In theory, just reinstalling TI should allow you to carry on where you left off, but from what you have written, it sounds as though the TI database has become confused and the only way around that is to start again.
If by any chance you have had to reinstall Windows from scratch this also could cause TI to refuse access the NSB correctly as file identifiers will be different.
Does the hidden timeline folder still exist and if it does are there any contents in the folder?
I assume you haven't disabled the NSB service in Windows Services.msc.
