Editing backup

Thread needs solution

Is there a way to edit a True Image 2013 backup file?

I made a backup of a system earlier this year
There are 2 directories with several files that I don't want in the backup when it gets restored if needed.
Is there a way for me to take the backup file select files that I don't want in the backup and then reprocess it to make a new backup file without those files

I have a 14GB image file on a seperate partition on the drive, there is more then enough room to add the new file on there then I can delete the original

Use the Mount option.
Mount the backup file in READ/WRITE mode and make the changes or uncheck what you do not want to include.
Save the changes.
This will add a new incremental file to the backup so when the restore is made, the unchecked files will not be included within the restore.
