tib restoration or validation fails

Thread needs solution

I'm trying to restore C: partition from a backup which includes 3 partitions:

- Recovery: 7.9 GB
- System Reserved: 7.1 GB
- Local Disk C: 111.3 GB

However it fails at verification step (first failed at restoration):

Operation Backup validation started manually.
Operation description: Stage Description.
Priority changed to Low.
Validate Backup Archive
Location:
"E:\My backups\My partitions\My partitions_full_b1_s1_v1.tib"
Pending operation 3 started: 'Validate Backup Archive'.
Operation with partition '0-0' was terminated.
Details:
The archive is corrupted (0x70020)
Tag = 0xF5F8CBCF76155663
Operation has completed with errors.

I am willing to try various methods if I know how:

1) Split the backup in three in case it has something to do with system or reserved partitions
2) Try to repair the tib archive
3) Convert it to vmdk or vhd
4) Fix or convert tib with external software in case format specifications are open

I don't know of any tool to repair or open a TIB file...

Does the validation work from the recovery CD?
Did you move or rename the TIB file? Are you positive it has been created from a full backup task?

The validation also fails booting from recovery cd. The file wasn't moved or renamed. It's a full backup because I set it prior to making the backup. Converting fails also.

Backup conversion: Conversion has failed. See log for details.

The thing is, I even can't see any log.

I've tried even mounting the tib file as virtual drive, but at some point fails to read files:

E00060106: Failed to read data of the backup being mounted.
