Can't Boot After Upgrade to ATI 2014

Thread needs solution

Windows 7 64 bit
Ran update of ATI 2014 (Build# 6614) over my ATI 2011 version, install finished normally, no errors, no Events. Launched ATI 2014 and it ran fine and saw my existing backups.

-Rebooted
-It started to load Windows and immediately threw error:
"Windows Fialed to Start a recent HW or SW change might be the cause
Status: Oxc0000225
The boot selection failed because a reqired device is inaccessible"

-It then prompted to run repair or start normally- normal loops back, repair says it can't fix and prompts for system repair/setup disk
-Run system repair and says it can't fix
-Rebooted to Safe Mode Command Line
-Ran Bootrec, tried all options, says completed successfully but no luck
-Booted with Acronis rescue CD and successfully restored Windows image

I have repeated this process at least 6 times, last 2 times I uninstalled ATI 2011 and ran ATI Cleanup Tool but still no luck. So I can revert back to a ATI 2011 stable system but I cannot upgrade to ATI 2014.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks

If you are within your 30 days of free support after purchase of 2014, you should contact them via the support ticket option or Live Chat.
Be sure that your 2014 serial number has been registered before contacting suppoort.

when running the new 2014 cleanup utility, did you follow the written instructions provided with the KB article.
There is a link below to the cleanup utility. The 2014 is a new version of that utility.

Yes, I am using the latest version as I downloaded today. Just to be sure I followed your link, downloaded, compared and they are the same.
Yes, reviewed the instructions and did not have the Startup Recovery Manager enabled nor do I use a Secure Zone.

I attempted to work with Support via Chat but had a very frustrating time. The tech kept kept referring me to a link for creating the Windows crash dump file but could not understand that I could not get Windows to load so I could not run the utility nor did I experience a Blue Screen to run a memory dump.

the special instructions in the KB article was listed under the "Common" section at the bottom.

I tried again as follows:
-uninstalled ATI 2011
-ran the ATI Cleanup util as instructed and did not reboot
-checked the referenced registry keys
---found none of the listed values
---each key had a "Property" value that could not be viewed, giving the message "Access denied"
-rebooted
-successfully loaded ATI 2014 and was able to view disks through its utilities
-ran the system log report and save to external HDD
-saved the installation log to external HDD
-rebooted
-same failure above "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible"

In the process of restoring image from ATI recovery disk

Are you able to boot into SAFE mode?

You mention Windows 7 16 bit, is that a typo and you meant 32 bit?

It sounds as though the SNAPAPI driver or the virtual disk bus didn't install properly, which isn't that helpful in solving your problem. Do you have an upto date pre upgrade complete disk image available if needed?

Sorry, typo; should have been 64 bit

Yes, I can boot into Safe mode

Yes, I have been continually reverting back to an updated image. Fortunately ATI 2011 image backup/restore is working fine.

Would it help to upload my log file?
