ATI 2010 Recovery CD doesn't see wireless
If I boot from the recovery CD, it doesn't see my mouse or my keyboard.
Am I missing a driver or something?

Chuck Billow

Chuck
See this post http://forum.acronis.com/forum/5475?page=4 beginning with my request (#236) for a special ISO recovery file....someone @ Acronis will have to send this file by PM....you may be able to request it but I suspect someone @ Acronis will see this thread and advise....

DND, Oleg said he sent me the image file via PM -- where the heck is the messaging access?
Don't worry, I'll get used to this eventually!

Mark, found it. Thanks.
Oleg (and anyone reading this thread), the image worked great. All driver issues are now settled.
Oleg, now will the changes in the image file be incorporated into ATI in a new update, or will it remain in need of a separate/special boot CD?
Regards,
Chuck

Hi to Chuck, Kilo, Oleg, Wildone,Bruce and DwnNdrty
You have given me hope!
I just purchased ATI 2010 this weekend, and found the same exact problem with nonoperational Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse using the rescue media and the post boot F11 key. I also tried the download "Acronis Product Native Bootable Media" and got the same results - no mouse. I spent quite some time today with Acronis support chat. They referred me to their 6714 content item which as you know suggested I buy a new wired keyboard and mouse. I have a new Win 7 pro 64 bit system which doesn't support 2 PS2 ports. they also sent me a download " TrueImage_6053_multiparam_standard_english_il.iso" Funny, this file was the same exact size as the "Acronis Product Native Bootable Media" I had already tried. This new file had the same result after reboot- no mouse.
I'm glad that you all have had good results with Oleg's file.
Oleg, could I also get a copy of this file via PM ? It would be much appreciated, since I feel out on a limb here without a way to restore from serious disc problems (have had to do a couple times on other systems).
Thanks, Don

Hello all,
Thank you for posting your questions, I will be happy to help.
Chuck,
Thank you for the feedback, I am really glad to hear that the program runs flawlessly. Certainly, the changes available for the customized CD will be implemented for the next released build. The situation is abnormal if a separate CD is required.
Don,
I am sending the appropriate file to you via PMs. Please burn the file to a CD disk and share the results for our forum community.
I invite all our customers who experience the same issue with wireless USB kit to send a Private Message, I will provide you with the file as soon as possible. We are unable to create a permanent link and to publish it on our web site, because only licensed customers should have the access to the full version of the program.
Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if the provided information is not clear or you need a further assistance.
Thank you.

Hello Don,
Thank you for the feedback, I am really glad to heat that the issue has been resolved.
I would like to share the below information, it can be useful for other customers.
If your wireless USB mouse and keyboard, which are parts of a wireless USB kit, do not work in Acronis Bootable Media (the issue described in this article), please log in to your account, go to the Registered products and downloads section -> Bootable media (please note that the license should be registered). We have recently uploaded new files that contain the fix for the issue.
Download the file, create Acronis Bootable Media and check its' functionality..
You can find the information on how to download the appropriate ISOLINUX file in this article.
There are two types of Acronis Bootable Media:
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product. This type of media is based on Acronis Loader;
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can download from your account on the Acronis website. This type of media is based on ISOLINUX.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the web site more frequently than regular product updates are released.
Please see this article on how to burn an ISO file to a CD disk.
Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.
