Thread needs solution

Hi, I am tasked with taking over a problematic backup issue
from an employee that left. The client has, according to notes:

Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Workstation incl. AAS

So, first question is: what is that "AAS"? Is this the "Advance Server" version?

Second Question: Are there any updates or HotFixes in the last year?
If yes, where do I get them?

It's Acronis Advantage Standard - technical support 12hr*5 days/week ( www.acronis.com/support/advantage.html‎ )
You can get updates from http://www.acronis.com/support/updates/ , after logging into your (client's) account.

I am getting a "Failed to delete the backups from archive ..." error when running
backups and read here somewhere that a 'HotFix' is out there somewhere to fix
this problem.

Can I assume that the HotFix has been incorporated in the new Update 1 (Build 37975)
of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Workstation, which is the product I'm using?

Second question: Will the downloaded installer package leave my settings intact?
(ie, network names, paths, schedules, etc.)
