Does True Image 2014 support the Thinkpad X230, with an SSD, and AHCI mode?
I have done a search but can't find anything meaningful.
The laptop has a SATA controller which can be set to either Compatibility or AHCI.
The drivers are all here

It have installed XP on it (XP is required for a special purpose) and reported the details here

I have been using Trueimage FULL for years, since v8 - a great product. But it always suffers issues with SATA drives. It will do the image backup (to a network drive) but the bootable CD won't boot - it says it cannot find a hard drive.
I know there is a process for creating a boot CD with custom drivers but it is horribly complicated.
I can confirm that a Trueimage 2010 boot CD won't - even with the SATA controller set to Compatibility mode.
Can anybody confirm whether any version of TI will natively support this laptop? It was an extremely common corporate laptop in 2012...
One solution I have used in the past, with SATA controllers, was to download the Trial of the latest TI version, install that, make a bootable CD with it, then boot with that and restore the image (made with some older version of TI) from the network drive. Trueimage seems to be a year or two behind the current SATA controllers so this often worked :) The Trial version of TI would get overwritten by the restore so it didn't matter.

UPDATE:
Trueimage 13 (2013) does work with the Thinkpad X230 SATA controller, in the AHCI mode. Well, it boots off the CD and discovers the HD OK. I have not tried restoring a backup with it yet.
This site seems dead but it does come up on google so some people may find this useful.

Perhaps your lack of response is the specificity of the question and others not having your hardware or AHCI
The Thinkpad has bee unique in the past that when a new disk is created either via a restore or clone,
it requires that the new disk be located inside the computer before the copy process can begin. I assume requirement is still in effect.
Inside link 1 below, index item 1-T has several past postings regarding the Thinkpad but those are not the newer models.
If your disk is the UEFI or GPT, or Windows 8, these have not been covered in any recent posts on the forum with your specific hardware.
Line 3 below, item 2 and item 3 might apply to your restore but were not tested for GPT or UEFI disks.
