Unable to restore backup. mSata SSD cache + HDD
Hi.. All
I have HP Envy4 1050la Ultrabook.
Windows 7 Home Premium. 64 bits
Acronis True Imagen Home 2014
SDRAM DDR3 de 6 GB (2 DIMM)
HDD 500 GB.
mSata SSD for 32 GB cache.
I see at the Intel Rapid Storage Technology app, that the system is configured in Acceleration Mode. RAID 0
My only options to enable/disable at the BIOS System Configuration (default values) are
Virtualization Technology (Disabled),
Fan Always On (disabled),
Action Keys Mode,
Intel Smart Connect Technology,
Intel Rapid Start Technology (last three enabled)
Secure boot, disable
Legacy support, enable
We perform backup of the C: drive successfully.
Restores the image to the message contained successful operation.
Restarting Unable to restore backup..!!!

Ricardo,
There is little value in backing up the cached information. But to make sure your system state is consistent, it is better to backup the main disk after you have turned off the caching mechanism and rebooted.
To backup this system, you would still disable the Intel options in the BIOS, reboot, backup your main disk and reenable them later. Not ideal, but workable.
