Image Recovery Help: IP routing
Hello Everyone!
Im a newbie here.. Got a couple of questions regarding disk Image Recovery and I hope you could enlighten me on my inquiries..
This scenario is recovering a disk image to remote machine booted on the bootable media.
1. During Disk Image recovery, which IP address would the image recovery use? Is it the IP address where the agent machine is registered on during remote installation?
2. In the case the Managed machine is registered to the management server using a specific NIC (NIC1), and at that time machine is machine is imaged, it has 2 other NIC's NIC2 and NIC3), during recovery, if it wont detect the NIC1 (registered IP to the management server), would it use the other NIC's (NIC2 or NIC3) to recover the image?
3. How does the Management server get the Machine name, while during installation, I only used the IP address to specify the machine?
4. If were to recover from the Bootable media (Locally on the machine to be recovered), ist is necessary to configure the NIC's IP address to be the same as the IP address of the Image to be recovered?
Hope you guys could help me out..
Thanks in advance!!!
Happy new year too!!!

Thanks for the information Fedor!!
I also would like to know, what are the requirements on using the PXE Server booting. As I understand, the by using the PXE server, you would be able to boot without using the Bootable media (USB, CD) inserted locally on the machine..
thanks in advance!!!

I can only google it for you in the userguide - http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/#1241.html - never had to deal with it.
