Occasional Error: Scheduler failed to run task

Thread needs solution

I'm using the latest TI 2014 Premium on Windows 7.

I do nightly incremental backups of my system disk. Usually it runs ok but every so often I get this error:

Scheduler failed to run task
"SPARKZ12_2" with GUID 'EAB5A27D-3A82-4766-A78A-54B0F2BA114F' because of error 1327 (Logon failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced).

Nothing in my system has changed regards the possible reasons it gives. It always runs fine the next night. I have 80 incremental backups and this has happened 6 times over this period (80 days).

On at least a couple of occasions I did recall changing a backup parameter after the previous backup. The system had been rebooted before the next backup though. And as I said it's never happened on 2 consecutive nights and always runs ok the following night.

Sounds like a bug to me. Has anyone any suggestions?

Thanks

I don't know whether this may have something to do with the problem you're having, but it might be useful information:

I've been trying to troubleshoot an ATI2014 problem where scheduled backups don't start until I log on in the morning, and I've been studying the Windows security logs (bring up the Event Viewer under Administrative Tools, and expand down in the tree to Windows Logs/Security). At the time that I think that ATI is logging on as me to run a backup, I'm seeing a number of entries in the security log with message: "An attempt was made to query the existence of a blank password for an account." While this seems to be saying that ATI is just checking to see if it can log in without supplying a password, there's enough smoke here to suggest that there might be fire as well. Just something to think about.
