True image OEM not offering download after registration

Thread needs solution

A local retailer (Scan computers ) recently started offering Free Acronis True Image with purchase of all storage drive.
I've registered the serial number with the Acronis website,
I expected a download link to use as it looks like a digital copy offer.
but no download was offered, only will show me my serial number and offer user guides
any idea's?

You need to check with the retailer about fulfillment of this offer.

This is a user to user forum.

Dale,
If you input and registered the 64 character serial number into the Acrnis website,
then you have access to all the needed downloads.

As MVP James F has stated, if your seller did not provide you with the 64 character serial nunber,
you will need to contact the disk seller.

Once serial is registered by you onto the Acronis site, the downloads are accessible as per below.

Hello!

I've registered my True Image OEM as MVP James F stated, but there is still no download link for the product. It seems pretty odd to have a valid product SN and no installation file. Please see the attached screenshot and advise. Thank you!

Contact Scan Computers. They could best answer what theiir sale transaction includes.

I'm having the same problem with no download link to True Image OEM, but my computer came from Toshiba.
Acronis registration accepted my serial number happily enough, but provided no download link and no explanation of why.
That seems pretty poor to me - if you can acknowledge that I own a license to it, why can't I also download it?

The simple answer is that Acronis did not provide you with your product keys and does not have the download for your limited functionality OEM version of their full product on their website. You need to contact the manufacturer or retailer that gave you your keys for further instructions on how to obtain a download to their customized version of True Image.

The screen cap posted above clearly states to contact your product distributor (OEM vender) for support.

For example Seagate hard drives have Discwizard (OEM version of Acronis) posted on their website. Western Digital has True Image WD Edition posted on their website. Adata has Acronis True Image HD posted on their website. OCZ has 2013 True Image HD posted on their website. So I would guess that your customized version will be on your providers' website.

The OEM who sold my laptop (Toshiba) do not offer a download. That's why I'm here.

The screen capture above merely shows Acronis' website saying won't support the software. I'm fine with that - I just want the download.
The only reason I need this support forum is to explain that I can't download my software, even though Acronis acknowledge my key. If Acronis has accidentally left off the download link in my account, then I'm happy to bring that to their attention.
