Protectcommand failed to execute after adding another vmware server

Thread needs solution

Hello, we recently swapped out a VMware server. It had more space which was needed. The servers are VMware 3.5 esxi.

I cant get the backup of any vm on the swapped out server to work.

The VMware 3.5 server is a licensed server, its not the free version.

We where licensed for 2 servers with Acronis Backup & Recover 11. I revoked the license of the one server and added it to the new server.

I then created new jobs and vaults for the vm's. But when I run the backups I get the errors below. Its the same error for every vm on this server.
Not sure what im missing, any help would be great.
Thanks
Mike

This - Failed to get archive URIs from location 'arl:/4C8B6A68-BF79-4346-94F5-A0AA54C2E5B5/2D3D6302-6BAE-4263-B9C1-C008E95F18B3'
- tells that the agent (appliance) fails to open backup location (vault). Check that there are correct credentials for in in backup plan settings. If you created the backup plan on the Management Server, it's possible that the vault is not accessible by appliances only - you can check from appliance's shell ( http://kb.acronis.com/content/4568 ) if it is visible from there.

Yep it was issues with the Vault. I ended up creating the vault, then validating it while remoted into the acronis appliance. Once I did that backups worked.

Thanks
