TI 2009 - USB Drive not ready (powered itself down)

Thread needs solution

When it was time  for my backup, the target USB drive was 'not ready'.

when I checked it, it was  ready and then I told TI retry and appeared to complete correctly. Can anyone tell from the log if the backup/verify completed correctly. I use a tool to power up the system, and it looks like  the hard drive took too long to spin up, so the I/O failed the first time.

After it was ready I told it to retry and it did run the  'after' comand which just hibernates again after the verify finishes.

Thanks

Hello David,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

According to the log file the backup operation wasn’t succeeded successfully, though validation was completed without errors. SO I may recommend you to do the following:

1)      Validate backup archive manually and see if it’s corrupted or not

2)      Update Acronis scheduler using the following link

3)      Make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.
