True Image Home Event Log Date Sort is Incorrect
In the Tasks and Event Log, if I click on the Last Run Time column, the rows are sorted by the ALPHABETICAL words in the Last Run Time column, rather than the date/time indicated in that column.
Clicking on a date column should sort by date, not the alphabetical words used to display the date.

I am using Acronis True Image Home 2009 Build 9,770.
I have applied the above KB article and rebooted my system. It doesn't solve the problem with the Backup tasks in the "Unscheduled tasks" tab sorting in alphabetic rather than date order.
I have nine of these tasks that I run manually as and when required. I don't really want to have to go through and re-create them all one by one. Is there a better solution?
regards,
Adrian

Hello Adrian,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.
Could you please let us investigate the issue and collect the following information?

The gathered information will be put in adv_report.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.
Running AcronisInfo may take up to 5 minutes.
Could you please make screenshot with the error and send it to us?
If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.

- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.
Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the issue appears and the link to this thread. I have a similar problem to this.
On the Scheduled tasks screen, if I click on the "Last Run Time" column header, the sort order is incorrect.
I have a screen print illustrating the problem precisely.
The issue is not with the scheduler itself - all the jobs are starting at the correct time. My issue is with the sort order of the display on the screeen only.
Whilst it may seem trivial, it is actually very confusing, and rather bizarre that a sort by date/time should be done in this way.
How do I get my screen dump to you?
EDIT: I am running ATI 2009 on Win XP Pro

The "Last Run Time" should sort by date & time, not the day name.
I am running ATI Home 2010 on Win XP SP3. Please see attached screen shot.

Here's the screen dump I referred to above. Didn't realise you could make attachments.
It's not as dramatic as Carol's. The (rather subtle) point is that the Kits backup at 11:21 am took place late Saturday morning. The other backups ran in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Hello all,
Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
Most probably it's just a GUI (Graphical User Interface) issue and it can be safely ignored. However, I've forwarded your request to the appropriate department, so it will be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you.

Could someone at Acronis please elaborate why, within roughly six years, the developers weren't able to comprehend how to sort date columns correctly?
See attached SCREENSHOT, Version 2014 w/ latest updates.
(... and let me add that during the last years, let's say since about Version 2009, the usability in certain respects has constantly degraded – event log handling is one of them. More details on request.)
