Intel Motherboard won't allow the clone process to continue
Running TI 2014 on a new custom Windows 7 Pro computer with Intel Desktop board DH87RL. Setting up the clone process works fine. The system shuts down, begins a restart, but never gets to the Acronis True Image blue screen. Instead, some Intel(?) software detects a problem, and wants to run tests. Eventually, the system reboots using drive C:, but the clone process is abandoned.

Thanks. I'll learn.
On the older computer, which belongs to a senior (90+) friend, I provide remote assistance. There were two internal drives, and one external eSata. I could create a clone regularly over a remote connection before going to bed. In the morning, my friend would just tap any key and be working as usual.
On this computer, we have a 1 TB drive C, a 2 TB drive D, and a 2 TB external drive M. I like having clones because changing the boot order can give us recovery in just a minute.
Then, there's the option of full and incremental backups, since we have abundant storage. What would you recommend?
