ATI 2009 build 9,809 manual backup will not start
I have created a backup job and on the summary page I ticked the Run Task Now box but the job did not start. The job ended up in the Unscheduled Task tab so I right clicked the job and selected start but nothing happens, the job will not run manually. Any ideas?
Running Windows XP SP3 on Dell Precision 450 Duel Zeon Processors with 3Gb RAM.
Cheers Bob

I had that happen recently, same version and build. I did multiple reboots, and full shutdowns, but no help. The next morning, I started everything up, and it worked and continues to work perfectly. I have never seen this before with any version to TI. Another case of PFM. I will try the brief delay trick if it reoccurs.

I totally agree .... but sometimes you just have to help yourself.

Hello Robert and DwnNDrty,
Please accept our profound apologies for the delay with the response.
I'm familiar with the issue and will do my best to resolve it.
Most likely the issue was caused by the malfunction of Acronis Scheduler2 module that is responsible for all tasks in Acronis True Image. So to fix it you need to reinstall and update the module and create all tasks from scratch.
Please do the following:
- Download Acronis Scheduler, which is a special utility to update the scheduler module;
- Extract the downloaded file and run install.bat. The utility will automatically update the service;
- Reboot the machine;
- Recreate all tasks.
Please let me know if the issue is not fixed, I'll be glad to assist you further.
Thank you.
