When I boot from the TI home 11 Emergency CD, I get a black screen, after I clicked on Acronis True Image during the boot menu.
I tried it with with a PCI-E Quadro NVS 285 graphic adapter, and I got the same problem.
Here the Facts:

Linux appears to be lacking the drivers you need in the TI home versions.
You could download the Safe versions for TI 11 and 2010 from your account, you'll find them on the Add Ons tab. There is also the bootable ISO based on a different version of Linux and drivers that might also work.
Using the 'wrong' boot CD to the program that created the image could at some time in the future cause problems as sometimes the business versions don't recognise the Home version images. Occasionally Acronis change the image format in the Home versions as well, which wil also mean your current rescue CD's wouldn't work on any new images you make.
If the worst comes to the worse, you can also ask Acronis to make a special ISO boot disk tailored to your specific system.

Hi Wolfgang,
Is your CD-ROM drive a SATA CD-ROM drive? If so, try adding an older IDE CD-ROM to your computer and see if you can successfully boot when the Acronis Recovery CD is placed in the older IDE CD-ROM drive. If you aren't actually using any RAID storage, be sure that RAID is turn off in your motherboard's BIOS. Be sure that "Plug & Play OS Installed" is disabled in BIOS so that the BIOS will enumerate and assign IRQs to all hardware. Finally, be sure that BIOS shadowing is disabled and that USB is enabled for DOS if you need to backup/restore from a USB drive. Note that USB drives must be plugged in before booting from the Acronis Recovery CD.
Well, give this a try and let me know if this works!

Hello all,
Wolfgang, I have sent you an alternate bootable discs images for Acronis True Image 11 Home and Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows via PM.
That new images are based on ISOLINUX bootloader. ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting. You can also set a specific VGA resolution in the ISOLINUX media if there an issue with the Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Please reply to this thread if the issue still persists, I'll be glad to help.
Thank you.

I had the same problem with a Fujitsu Esprimo P2550!
I experimented with the startparameters for the Rescue-CD, and the Parameter "noapic" did the job!
I got 1 reboot while going to advanced backupsettings, but this only occured once. Backup and Restore is working fine on Esprimo P2550 with this setting.
hope this helps!

If available for your version, return to your registation page and in the update/download section, you may have a "Bootable Media" option.
Start by clicking on the Support button in upper right corner of this web page.
This download must be burnt to CD as an image. For more info, check item 2-G inside my signature index below.
